Launched at The Palms Décor and Lifestyle Centre (on the 1st floor) on the 14th of July, The Lock Stock is the ideal complement to the awesome and popular food market, Market at The Palms, which brings the best of the West Coast to the city.

For designers, The Lock Stock provides creatives a platform to showcase and sell their products in a market atmosphere. It aims to foster creativity, collaboration and community and all products be conceptualised, designed and manufactured by the traders – arts, clothing, jewellery, collectables, homeware, object design, furniture etc.

For the rest of us, The Lock Stock is the place to meet, interact and purchase locally-made products directly from Cape Town’s design community.

On offer is a range of products that includes arts, clothing, jewellery, collectables, homeware, object design, furniture and more, including jewellery from Milame Handmade Design, Cactisaurs by Xico (a major crowd attraction), ceramics and printed textiles from Veldt, HelenSilverSmit’s upcycled silverware jewellery and Hout Couture’s fabulous wood-framed polarized sunglasses.

The Lock Stock is open from 9am to 2pm on 11 and 25 August this month and twice monthly throughout 2012.

More info about the market, the designers and the products, as well as news, updates and all 2012 dates can be found on their Facebook page
