There is only one place to go in town if you’re looking for a good paella and that’s La Bruixa, sister restaurant to La Boheme, in Sea Point. The paella is a family recipe of Anna Rasclosa’s, owner of La Bruixa, who traveled all the way to her hometown in Spain to get the secret recipe from her mother firsthand.

The paella serves two and is accompanied by a fresh seasonal salad and pan con tomate.

One can choose from either the Seafood Paella (R260), overflowing with prawns, mussels, calamari and linefish or the Vegetable Paella (R150), which includes artichokes, mushrooms, chickpeas, green peas and peppers or the Rabbit, free-range chicken & chorizo paella (R200).

You can create your own paella. R70 for the paella and just add what you like:

  • Rabbit/chicken R80
  • Fish R60
  • Prawns R60
  • Mussels R40
  • Calamari R80
  • Chorizo R60
  • Vegetables R80

La Bruixa also offers dangerously delicious Sangria to go with it in true Spanish style.
R90 for a jug or you can order by the glass.

Served from 12h00 to 15h00 daily. For more info contact 021 434 8797.
