It officially opened in August last year, but Wild Clover Brewery began in a garage in 2008 and moved to the farm in 2011. They are now proud producers of four natural beers: English Ale, Irish Porter, German Pils and Belgian Wit. Owner Ampie Kruger is passionate about the art of brewing and the first ever Hops Harvest Festival brings together many of the country’s finest craft breweries to celebrate another successful hops harvest.
On from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 May, entry is R100 per day, which includes all beer tastings! Along with plenty of the finest local craft beer, you’ll find Wild Boar on the spit and delicious German dishes, live music and entertainment for the kiddies. Children under 18 enter free, as do moms on Mothers’ Day. Book online Quciket.
There is plenty of secure parking on the farm, but there will be chauffeur operators and shuttle services available to get you home safely, too. For details about these services, the festival and Wild Clover farm, contact firstname.lastname@example.org, call 021 865 2248 or visit the website
