assembly radio live – the rock ‘n rollercoaster presents: taxi violence on 18 november

The Assembly recently introduced a new series of events entitled: “Assembly Radio Live – The Rock ‘n Rollercoaster Presents…” – a new series in an intimate and unique setting.

A combination of the concept of VH1 Storytellers and MTV Unplugged, the series hosts some of South Africa’s top music acts and offers the chance to interact on a personal level with some of South Africa’s biggest bands.

The series launched in October with guests VAN COKE KARTEL performing and interacting with a gig that chased all Monday blues away. It was also the first time this well known Afrikaans rock band played this type of acoustic show, which included a Q&A between songs where topics ranged from sound and music related questions to the number of women Jason “usually” sleeps with on tour.

For the second event, on 18 November, Assembly Radio Live – The Rock ‘n Rollercoaster – presents TAXI VIOLENCE. Here’s your chance to get involved and be a part of the conversation. It’s all happening on:

Monday, 18 November 2013, 19h00 for 19h30, at The Assembly, Cape Town. Get your ticket for R40 at Webtickets or for R50 at the door. Limited tickets and seating will be made available due to the nature of the event, so we suggest you book now. You can RSVP by emailing No under 18s.

“Assembly Radio Live – The Rock ‘n Rollercoaster Presents…” will also be taking place on the 9th of December. Be sure to follow the links below to stay updated on all details.
